{ eating: take II }
Orva's mealtime tactics thus far:
- Rice Cereal: close mouth as tightly as possible - do not take any more than three bites.
- Oatmeal: shudder and gag and throw up.
- Green Beans: keep mouth open as long as possible so that nothing is tasted or swallowed.
* In the beginning of the video, she's opening her mouth not because she wants another bite but because she doesn't want to taste the previous bite...

I love it! That's exactly the face Henry did when I gave him the green beans - he just opened his mouth really big and refused to shut it, because he didn't want to taste them. Then he noticed that it made the other kids laugh when he did that, so he kept doing it just for fun, even when I just fed him applesauce after that.
so, i found your blog on bekah's...and i'm pretty sure i found it on the perfect day! that video of orva is absolutely hilarious! she is adorable. ps. i still LOVE all of the stuff i bought at the cents of style party...don't regret any of it! :)
